Are you looking to try to new product to give your barnet a boost? I have just been introduced to Cake Beauty and I am now a fan of this deliciously sweet smelling brand. Cake Beauty was created by Heather Reier from Ontario and the brand have a full range of seriously gorgeous beauty products. I have been using the "The Big Big Deal" thickening volume shampoo and "The Big Wig" (fabulous name!) thickening volume condition. As a product junkie, I was a fan of the cute pink bottle but an even bigger fan of the SMELL. Yummy! A little squish of the bottle and a glorious poof of sweet shop explodes from the lid. My hair is pretty fine so these products have really made a difference to my own hair. Jam-packed with natural ingredients the formula nourishes and plumps hair, making it feel thicker. A little bit goes a long way too. It lathers up like a dream!
Cake Beauty is a Vegan and Cruelty Free brand yay! Available at Boots from £2.99 #thisiscakeland Some of the cut-crease looks you see on social media can very dramatic and bold but might not necessarily feel wearable for "most" people but the beauty of makeup is that it's all about personal preference. If we all looked the same or liked the same things the world would be a very dull place. I prefer to create beautiful looks that "feel" wearable as well as looking beautiful too. So, this is my version of the natural cut-crease look as modelled by stunning Min Cai (represented by TTM Model Management).
Natural, nude tones... I was super excited to try the new LA Girl Cosmetics nude palette in Mastery to create this eye look on model, Min. A nice nude palette is a staple requirement in my makeup kit (available at Beauty Bay for £15.00) and this is such a great addition with an affordable price tag too! What other products were used? As a base, I used Mac Studio Fix foundation for a light base, adding a subtle contour to Min's amazing natural bone structure using Anastasia Beverley Hills "Light to Medium" powder contour palette and added some warmth to the cheeks with a soft pink crème blush from Kryolan "Ambient". Min's brows were filled out using HD Brow "Foxy" palette and her eye makeup was finished using Benefit Cosmetics "Bad Gal" mascara and Maybelline's "Lasting Drama Gel" in intense black for the dramatic wing. Her lips were kept soft nude pink by a light application of Mac Cosmetics "Kinda Sexy" matte lipstick to compliment her warm complexion. The hair was combed out root to tip using the Cloud Nine luxury texture comb and finished off with both hair spray and oil mist to create hold but give it an extra glossy look. So there we have it... a super glam, yet natural cut-crease look. Even with nude tones, you can still create something a little more dramatic and fun. Team;
