By Laura Russell, Personal Stylist and Shopper Go-to-dress When it comes to spring the weather can be hit or miss however a Go-to-Dress allows for weather adaptation and you can dress it up or down accordingly. For colder days use leggings underneath or an old pair of tights and cut them off at the knee to allow for an extra layer of warmth just in case, add longer sleeve tops or roll necks under as well then strip back as the weather is nicer for you. Lighter Jeans Living in Britain means we have to consider a very transeasonal wardrobe and my favourite tip for transitioning into spring is just to lighten up your jeans, if throughout the winter months you have been in black or indigo jeans now is time to lighten them up. What's amazing about now is basically any jean goes .... Legs on trousers and jeans have gotten wider this season but skinnies still have a place. Dare you go white jeans these are perfect for summer and lighter blue work so well for spring. Wear white skinnies under dresses for a warmer way to wear for spring. Wear with anything trainers After living in comfort for the last year those feet are going to find that transition back to heels or sandals a hard one, so get a pair of trainers that make your feet thank you but look stylish and can dress up a dress or some jeans Wide Leg trouser This season a wide leg trouser is going to become 2nd to a pair of jeans for you so invest in a nice wider leg to wear dressed up or down. Dare you step away from the usual black classic and go for a pop of colour? Be as brave as you can. Throw on jacket
You just cant be too sure in spring you leave the house in glorious sun to be faced with a cold spell, get yourself a perfect throw on jacket that can work with anything. Comments are closed.
